Subject: Etiquette

Commentary:

The etiquette is to show your good manners it; is the touch that distinguishes your personality: elegance, natural, simplicity.

Good manners are the expression of what each person has in their heart to give others and they act in the physical dimension, human and spiritual.

The rules of etiquette can apply in different places and forms:
Table manners
Manners at work
Living together
Clothes
Treatment towards other people
Telephone courtesy
Breakfast and lunch at work
Public relations

The six basics principles of etiquette and protocol in business are:
 Be punctual
 Be discreet
 Be polite, nice, friendly and optimistic
 Be interested in others
 Dress properly
 Use correct lenguaje (written and oral)
The social skills are very important in our business, this will give us
success in our lives.

Letter of president

20-6-2010
Msc. Laura Chinchilla Miranda
Presidential House
Costa Rica
Zapote, San José
Dear Ms. President:
I am Lezahairam, I am a nurse and I am currently working in IAFA in this time.
I am writting you, because I am worried about the increase in crime in our country.
I think that crime is related to poverty, high costs of life (education, medical treatment, food) and the most important the families do not spend enough time together.
The lack of the jobs, and the low salaries make the people search for other forms to obtain money.
Also there, exist corrupter people; they look for poor people for to do bad things and to obtain easy Money. For example; drug traffickers use children to sell drugs.
Some suggestions:
 To have jobs opportunities for people with limited education
 To improve security in schools, high schools, universities and neighborhoods
 To improve wages for the policemen (it is a dangerous job, and poorly paid)
 To work together with the church on family campaigns (social work with needy people)
I hope that under your administration there are projects to reduce crime.
Thanks for your attention and time,
Sincerely,

Dra. Lezahairam Thomas Cornejo

My community

I live in Calle Blancos. This place is a small city.
It is situated in Goicoechea, San José.
My husband and I moved here nine month ago. We live in our house.
I like this location, because in front of my house is the sports square; in the weekend and on some evenings people play soccer.
Our bus stop is across the street.
The supermarket “Palí” is on the way to our house.
The minimarket is around the corner.
Next door is the ironworks “San José”.
There´s a gym nearby, just one block away.

Almost everything I need is just within walking distance; for example: the church, the bank and the police office.
The distance between my house towards work is not that much, around fifteen minutes in car.
In general it is a peaceful neighboorhood; the most important is that my young sister is my neighbor and our mother´s house is near to us.

My perfect job

Nursing is a perfect job.
You can help people with only love.
You can feelthe people´s pain and based on this you can give advice to recover their health.
Everyday you see people fighting against their sickness and you can be a God instrument to alleviate their pain.
Also I could work in education, prevention and investigation, and with this contribute to the social well-being.
However, it is a very dangerous job: physically, emotionally and mental. Extended hours are normal for each schedule.
The most important in this job is up date information(new diseases, new procedures, new protocoles and new treatments).
I like this work, I am a nurse.
